At My I.T. Consultants, our story begins with our founder, Kevin Murphy, a tech enthusiast who first tinkered with computers in 7th grade in 1975. He graduated high school early and joined the Navy in 1981, serving as a Sonar Technician (STS) on ballistic missle subs where he honed his skills in repairing and maintaining complex sonar and fire control systems. After six years of service he transitioned to the private sector and after finishing a bachelor's degree, joined Dell Computer as a dedicated corporate account rep supporting targeted Fortune 100 accounts. Kevin managed the network operations center for IBM’s Austin development lab, helped design MCI’s innovative client-server telemarketer call center platform, and led Rapp Collins Worldwide’s datacenter transition to a client-server desktop architecture. With a wealth of experience as a network consultant, Kevin founded My I.T. Consultants in 2001, driven by a passion for delivering cutting-edge I.T. solutions and to give businesses a trusted, one-stop solution for computer and network consulting, installation, and ongoing maintenance.
