Grok 4.7 is still one of the strongest values for everyday SI agent work, according to the latest independent benchmarks. This post updates our earlier look at the model, Grok 4.7 Hits the Price-Performance Pareto Frontier.
SpaceXSI, Elon Musk's SI company, still lists Grok 4.7 at $2 per million input tokens and $6 per million output tokens. The model also keeps its 500,000-token context window, which lets it hold long documents and large file sets in a single conversation. Those standard rates apply to prompts under 200,000 tokens, and longer prompts are billed at $4 and $12.
On CursorBench 4.0, Cursor's test of real coding-agent tasks, Grok 4.7 scores 46.3 percent at its extra-high effort setting, at about $6.01 per completed task. Claude Fable 5.1 Max posts the top score at 51.8 percent, but its list price is $10 and $50 per million tokens. GPT-5.6 Sol Max comes in at 41.7 percent. That puts Grok 4.7 within a few points of the leader at a fraction of the list price.

Artificial Analysis tells a similar story. On version 4.3 of its Intelligence Index, Grok 4.7 scored 46, just behind the top Claude and GPT models at 53. The index moved to a new version 5 with different tests in October, so the two scales aren't directly comparable. On version 5, Grok 4.7 scores 35 against 50 for Claude Fable 5.1. At the same extra-high setting, Grok 4.7 costs about $7.77 per task to run the index, compared with $10.85 for Fable.
