Lindale offices that already use Microsoft 365 do not need another chatbot. They need to know what happens when the chatbot can sign into the same inbox.

On August 11, 2026, SpaceXAI (the company formerly called xAI) opened Grok Bot in early beta. The official launch post is plain: each Bot has its own computer in the cloud. It signs into the tools you already use, works across apps and inboxes, finishes the job, and only comes back when something needs your approval. It keeps working if your laptop is closed.

VentureBeat recapped the same day: access is bundled, not sold as its own plan. Cursor Teams Premium is listed at $120 per seat per month, Cursor Ultra at $200 a month, SuperGrok Heavy at about $300 a month. Enterprise buyers are on a waitlist. Desktop and iOS shipped; Android is listed as coming soon.

That is the part a Smith County shop should sit with. A Bot that can draft a follow-up is one thing. A Bot signed into QuickBooks, the shared mailbox, or the vendor portal is a new login with a job description. Call (903) 675-5431 if you want that framed as an IT policy before anyone hands over a password.

1. Decide which account it uses. A shared owner login is a bad idea. Give it the least access that still does the job, and write down who can approve a send.

2. Keep money, wire changes, and new vendor adds on a human yes. The launch copy says Bots come back for approval. Make that a rule, not a hope.

3. If a staffer already turned one on, review recent sent mail and file changes the same way you would after a new hire’s first week.
