SpaceX closed another major AI compute hosting deal. CFO Bret Johnsen told a Goldman Sachs conference on Thursday that the company locked a hosting agreement worth approximately $1.11 billion per month. Revenue under the deal starts December 1 of this year. The customer remains unnamed.

The new contract adds to SpaceX capacity already rented to Google and Anthropic. Those deals cover Colossus data centers in Mississippi and Tennessee. Anthropic’s agreement runs at approximately $1.25 billion per month through May 2029. Google’s June deal is approximately $920 million per month. Johnsen said the latest win gave him more conviction that SpaceX can reach its $100 billion annual recurring revenue target by year-end.

This is an infrastructure story rather than a rocket story. AI companies are racing for GPUs and halls that stay powered around the clock. SpaceX is turning unused data-center capacity from the xAI combination into cloud revenue. Business Insider reported that the company already signed $6.7 billion in cloud services revenue early in the third quarter. SpaceX also spent $16 billion on AI infrastructure in the second quarter alone. Musk still wants orbital data centers later. The near-term cash remains on the ground.
