Bar chart of Grok Bot paid weekly users rising from under 400K in early September to 800K in early October, beside a cluster of Grok Bot marks and the SpaceXSI wordmark.

SpaceXSI's Grok Bot reached 800,000 paid weekly users earlier this month, more than doubling in roughly 30 days, according to comments from President Gwynne Shotwell on SpaceX's October 20 third-quarter earnings call. Elon Musk called it the fastest-growing product he has ever seen and noted that usage per user continues to rise rather than decline the longer people keep the agent. The disclosure arrived the same week SpaceXSI formally opened the SpaceX Super Intelligence Partner Network, giving the growth numbers an immediate distribution channel.

Grok Bot launched in beta on August 11 as a team of always-on artificial intelligence (AI) agents that run on their own cloud computers, sign into existing tools, and complete multi-step work with only occasional human approval. The jump to 800,000 paid weekly users by early October, with business-to-business (B2B) customers called out as the fastest-growing category, suggests the product has moved past the initial curiosity phase. Shotwell described companies treating the agents as force multipliers across sales, marketing, information technology (IT), and engineering workflows.

The partner network, announced October 22, is structured to speed up that business adoption. More than 130 firms participated in early access. Transformation Partners, such as systems integrators, consultancies, and services firms, help customers plan and adopt Grok across their operations. Marketplace Partners publish plugins so Grok can work inside the tools businesses already run. Launch partners include NVIDIA, Databricks, Snowflake, Bain & Company, and others. Engineers at more than 30 organizations have already been trained through SpaceXSI's Forward Deployed Engineer accreditation program.

For managed service providers (MSPs) and IT teams evaluating agent platforms, the combination of usage growth and a formal partner program changes the practical outlook. Agents that stay inside a customer's existing tools and keep their context from day to day cut down the setup work that has slowed many earlier AI projects. The partner layer supplies both implementation help and ready-made connectors, which matters when the alternative is building custom wiring for every client. Musk also said Grok Bot may end up using most of SpaceX's Super Intelligence computing capacity.

The numbers are still early, and Musk said the business version is only now moving from a small group of trusted customers to a wider rollout in the coming weeks. What stands out is the simultaneous rise in paid weekly usage and the opening of a structured partner channel aimed at exactly the organizations that can put those agents into production workflows. That pairing is the clearest signal yet that Grok Bot is being positioned as an everyday work tool rather than a novelty feature.
