Apple released iOS 27 on September 14, 2026. The update brings Siri AI, a new version of Siri powered by the next generation of Apple Intelligence. Matching updates rolled out across Apple’s other platforms the same day.

iOS 27 itself can install on older hardware. Public coverage puts the floor at the iPhone 11 class, including later iPhone SE models. That is a wide list for a major yearly release.
